Our mission is to strive to engage each person in fulfilling God's plan to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Our Ministries
Your gifts and talents can make a difference by serving at BPMC. Are you feeling restless and not knowing where to begin? We can help! We have many opportunities for you to get involved and would love to spend some time finding out where God wants to use you. Whether it's serving on Sunday or throughout the week we have a place for you.
Kids crew
Birth - Grade 5
Nursery: is available for birth - K during the 9am Contemporary Worship Service and Sunday School
*Room 1: 3 years old - K
*Room 3: birth - 2 years old
Our Kids Crew Sunday School Registration is Sunday, September 13th, with classes beginning on September 20th at 10:30am
Youth
Grades 6 - 12
Youth Group will be starting on Wednesday, September 16th from 6pm - 8:30pm.
Youth Group for students in 6th - 12th grade. It's open to all youth, you don't need to attend the church to attend Youth Group
Youth Sunday School begins on Sunday, September 20th at 10:30am
Adult Sunday Schools
Understanding Genesis - Join us as Bible teacher Les Feldick helps unpack the book of Genesis, once we have finished Daniel; led by Thom & Kathy Bemus in the UMW Room
Drawing Close to Jesus - Join us for an open class with a relaxed environment for asking questions and drawing near to Jesus; led by Holly Evans-Brown & Brenda Minton in the Ellery Room (Starting in September)
Precepts: 1 & 2 Peter - Join Connie Tenpas this fall as she leads a Sunday School going through Precepts Upon Precepts: 1 & 2 Peter (Starting September 13th)
Small Groups
Monday Morning Prayer - join us at 9am to pray over the prayer requests from our church body
Spiritual Formation - This is a relaxed, welcoming space to grow closer to Jesus and let His love shape your everyday life. It’s not about having all the answers, just learning, sharing, and walking together; Mondays at 10am in the Sanctuary. This group is taking the month of August off as a reset, will be back on September 14th
Motherhood Huddle - a small group for Moms in all stages of motherhood; from diapers and naps to the teenage years; their next book study will be, “Habits of the Household” by Justin Whitmel Earley. They will be meeting every other Monday at 6pm. This group will be starting back up on Monday, September 14th
“Everyday Hallelujah” - Join Katie Graham on Mondays at 6:30pm as she leads a group through Phil Wickham’s book, “Everyday Hallelujah”. This group is open for everyone! It will start on Sept 7th
Young Adult Small Group - This group meets at 7:30pm every Monday. All young adults are welcome (entering college - 29).
GriefShare - This group offers a safe and caring space to navigate the unpredictable emotions of loss. You’ll learn what to expect, discover healthy ways to cope, and find steady, loving support along the journey. If you or someone you know is walking through grief, you are warmly invited to join! All are welcome, bring a friend. Starting on Tuesday, August 25th; led by Becca Snyder
"Jesus and Women" - Join Rene Swallan as she leads a group through the book “Jesus and Women” by Kristi McLelland. This group will meet at her house on Tuesdays at 6pm. This group will be starting on Tuesday, September 1st
“Help is Here” - a practical look at how to use the strength, purpose, and power of the Holy Spirit in your everyday life. Join Charlie Hodges for this 5 week study of Max Lucado’s book, “Help is Here”. They will meet starting in mid-September on Tuesday evenings from 7pm - 8:30pm
"Through the Bible" with Les Feldick - Join us as we journey with Les through the entire Bible in a study that uses Scripture to illuminate and confirm scripture. Hosted by Thom & Kathy Bemus on Wednesday's at 10am.
Coffee & Conversation - Our prayer for this group is to bring women together who are in the Sandwich season of life to fill your cup, grow godly friendships and create a prayerful community. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at noon in the Ellery Room; led by Brenda Minton
Ladies Bible Study - The ladies are taking the Summer off, but will come back in the Fall with Beth Moore’s study, Walking With God. Meeting on Thursdays at 1pm in the Ellery Room starting on September 10th
Thursday Night Prayer - join us on Thursday evenings in the Prayer Room at 7pm to pray over our concerns and our country
Men's Small Group - This group meets on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month. All men welcome!
Ladies Prayer - Meeting in the Connect Room on Saturday mornings at 9am
